Merino Fleece 2024: to cope with changing mountain conditions

Ortovox has been using wool as the main material in its collections since 1988. Starting with fulled virgin wool for midlayers, by 1993 they introduced wool fleece and in 1995 Merino wool baselayers. This innovative approach over 35 years ago helped popularize the use of wool in outdoor clothing and has become a hallmark of Ortovox. For summer 2024, the company is launching the Merino Fleece collection, which harnesses the natural qualities of Merino wool to offer lightweight, warm, wind-resistant, and rugged garments suited to the needs of mountain enthusiasts.
