Mini Mountain Mash 2024: the spectacle of snowboarding in Madonna di Campiglio
From January 25 to 28, Madonna di Campiglio will be transformed into the international capital of snowboarding, offering a full calendar of events as part of the Mini Mountain Mash 2024.
This extraordinary winter show, organized by Pietro Colturi and his team at B-Factory, represents a unique experience that combines spectacular challenges between the world’s best pro-riders with fun activities open to amateurs and young enthusiasts.
An important novelty for the 2024 edition is the collaboration with MINI, which becomes title sponsor of the event, confirming its commitment to promoting snowboarding and the adrenaline rush that characterizes this sport.
The Ursus Snow Park in Madonna di Campiglio will be the stage for excitement from January 25 to 28. The full program is still being finalized, but two highlights already confirmed are the slopestyle contest, which attracts the best athletes globally, and the banked slalom, open to all fans with an increasingly high level of snowboarding.
A key element of Mini Mountain Mash 2024 will be its openness to a wide and diverse audience. Pietro Colturi says, “This year’s program will again include activities accessible to everyone, from curious beginners to more experienced enthusiasts. We will pay special attention to the female world in snowboarding and to the youngest aspiring champions. We will work carefully to involve anyone who wishes to approach the magical world of snowboarding.”
Special attention will be paid to women and girls who are passionate about snowboarding, with special sessions aimed at improving technique and experiencing the unique thrill of the sport. In addition, for the first time, a specific focus on younger children will be introduced, with activities and teachings designed to introduce them to snowboarding in a fun and safe way.
Confirmed is the presence of a large area dedicated to testing new equipment and innovative solutions proposed by Burton, including the innovative Step On binding that eliminates the use of straps thanks to a three-point attachment.
The creation of Mini Mountain Mash 2024 is the result of a strong collaboration with the Madonna di Campiglio resort and the Funivie Campiglio management companies. Bruno Felicetti, general manager of Funivie Campiglio, comments, “After seven years of collaboration, we are thrilled to welcome back the focus event of Italian snowboarding. Our resort and the Ursus Snow Park are ready to host the Mini Mountain Mash, certain to enhance the exciting winter sports proposal for young and passionate people.”
