New Mizuno Wave Sky 7

New Mizuno Wave Sky 7

MIZUNO COMPLETELY REVAMPS ITS FLAGSHIP MODEL FOR GREATER COMFORT AND MORE CUSHIONING.

“Wave” midsole with two densities and 3D design geometries for very high cushioning capacity. These are the main ingredients of a shoe capable of making runners float with every step, without sacrificing stability.

We have come to know La Wave Sky as a benchmark when we think about the feeling of softness and comfort for our running, especially over long distances. We rediscover this feeling, referred to as “floating,” with the new strengthened midsole. 33 millimeters more on the forefoot and 41 millimeters in the heel area, for a drop of 8 mm.

The wave system has a dual intensity. The upper component is more linear and provides the shoe with fluidity and smoothness. The lower one, being more wavy, makes the shoe more stable than previous models.

Due to the 3D bubbles in the midsole, the material takes on a very high deformation capacity, making movement during running much more comfortable.

Underlying the construction of the Wave Sky 7 are a multitude of compounds developed by Mizuno over the years. In the midsole, for exemipo, we will find Mizuno Enerzy and Mizuno Enerzy.

For increased stability during stance and transaction, two major changes were made to the tread, adding 94 millimeters of width in the rear and 120 millimeters in the front.

The inclusion of state-of-the-art mesh allows the Wave Sky 7’s upper for optimal ventilation. The development of these improvements in design and technologies have not left aside one of the most important aspects: eco-sustainability. In fact, the upper is produced from environmentally sustainable materials in percentages ranging from 50 percent to 90 percent.

These are just some of the good reasons to discover the new Wave Sky 7.
