Premio Letterario Zamberlan, the narrative contest dedicated to “walks”

Zamberlan’s narrative contest is related to the experience of hiking, meditation, exploration, mountaineering, faith and therapy trips.

Zamberlan recently presented the Premio Letterario Zamberlan, the first narrative contest in Italy dedicated to the experience of “walking.” The act of moving on foot has become in recent years an experience of encounter, adventure, meditation, health and faith. So why not tell the stories of these incredible walks?

The contest announcement will be available for download from November on this website with specific timing arrangements for submitting writings (40,000 characters max) or podcasts (of 10/15 minutes max).

The announcement of finalists and winners will be on October 7 and 8, 2023 at Podere la Torre in Schio. The winners will receive a Montegrappa jewel pen worth 4,000 euros (written section) and 2,000 euros (podcast section) as a prize, while the other two category finalists will win Zamberlan supplies. The first place winners will also see their stories published in the volume Short Stories of People on the Road, by Maggioli Editore.

The Premio was created with several objectives including the enhancement of walking, territorial identity, a better relationship between man and the environment, and economic support for trail projects that enhance the landscape.
