Responsive all-mountain bindings that transmit power to the board with ease

Ride A6 test

If you love the feel and responsiveness of aluminum underfoot, then Ride’s A-6 bindings are for you, and that’s what they want to communicate right from the name, where A stands for Aluminum and 6 stands for the flexibility rating. In fact, the Slimeback High-Back compound ensures a smooth raid while providing maximum lateral mobility, while the A-Series aluminum frame brings the flex portion that we so enjoyed and that, after all, is the strength of these bindings. Power transfer is not stiff but smooth, leading the board to be responsive under our controls, an aspect also aided by the 2.5-degree base tilt, which allows for more effective leverage on both the tip and tail of the board. If you are an intermediate rider and are looking to take your set-up to the next level, the A-6s might also be for you because they are in fact bindings that are reliable in any situation and flexible enough to do a few tricks in the park or launch into great freeride days. As far as we are concerned, we can vouch for the grip both on and off-piste, the experience of riding on a day not of real powder, but with some nice dusting off-piste, makes us say that these bindings show promise even in serious conditions.
