Salewa presents the new spring summer 2024 collection
Salewa launches the “Puez” collection for spring/summer 2024, designed for both the urban environment and mountain adventures. This collection appeals to a younger generation that seeks individual style and new ways of interacting with nature, departing from tradition. The philosophy behind the collection is “We_ar* Nature,” which emphasizes the integration of humans with the natural environment, both in the city and in the mountains.
The “Puez” collection stands out for its modern and contemporary design, inspired by the urban scene but without sacrificing functionality and essential technical details for the mountains. It uses sustainable materials such as alpine hemp (Alpine Hemp) and the new bio-based Sorona polymer fiber, combined with other natural and synthetic fibers to ensure comfort and sustainability. The three design pillars of the collection are: Nature Tech, which blends sustainable natural fibers with functional technical materials; Experience shaped, which offers intuitive and manageable solutions; and Future proof, which features innovative design and quality details.
Textile hemp and Sorona are chosen for their natural performance, durability, comfort on the skin and temperature-regulating properties, contributing to Salewa’s vision of sustainable, future-oriented outdoor clothing.

The Puez Hemp Durastretch 2/1 Hybrid Jacket is a multifunctional, breathable and rugged hiking jacket made of Alpine Hemp, a particularly sustainable material. Its construction ensures maximum functionality and adaptability-both outdoors in the heart of unspoiled nature and in the midst of the urban jungle. With its innovative design and outer material made of Alpine Hemp and Sorona, this naturally composed 2-in-1 softshell jacket is perfect to wear during hiking outings in mixed terrain and variable weather conditions. At the same time, its design also makes it suitable among city streets.
Puez Hemp Durastretch 2/1 Hybrid Pant M/W
For trekking in the mountains at a fast pace and for moving freely in the urban jungle: their soft, breathable, tear-resistant, windproof and highly functional material makes the Puez Hemp Durastretch 2/1 Hybrid Summer Hiking Pants the right choice in the mountains, in the valley and among the city streets. The naturally cooling properties of the main material, Alpine Hemp, make this pant perfect for summer, while the addition of polyester fibers makes the fabric easy to care for and highly versatile. Highly abrasion-resistant Durastretch inserts have been inserted at the most stressed points, which need another degree of elasticity.
Puez 40+5 L Backpack
The new Puez 40+5 L is a large backpack with a contemporary design, specially tailored to suit a wide range of activities-from multi-day trekking trips in the Dolomites to hiking in other mountain ranges around the world. This backpack is extremely sturdy; its design is unique, progressive and multifunctional. The roll-top opening and infinity zipper with double sliders located at the bottom allow quick access to all parts of the main compartment, including items that might be hidden at the bottom of the backpack. The roll-top opening provides 5 liters of additional space, useful for longer hikes.
Puez Knit Mid Powertex Shoe M/W
The Puez Knit Mid Powertex Boot is a hiking boot designed to give you a nice soft feel when you put it on and prolonged comfort during short or long hikes, on rough trails and mixed terrain. At the same time, it is also perfectly suited for urban use. This is the first shoe for which our Salewa Alpine Hemp material was used. The midsole was made from a mix of recycled textile hemp waste, thus reducing the percentage of EVA-and ultimately microplastics-necessary for its production. The same approach was also applied to the laces, which are even more sustainable in this model because they combine textile hemp with recycled polyester.
