SCARPA Ice Days, Feb. 9 and 10
SCARPA organizes “Ice Days” in Cortina
On February 9 and 10, the world’s top climbing and ski mountaineering athletes will meet in Cortina for the SCARPA Ice Days, an event organized by SCARPA, an Italian company specializing in mountain and outdoor footwear. Participants can choose between ice climbing and ski mountaineering activities. Depending on the type of registration, it will be possible to share the experience with athletes from the SCARPA team or with experts from the Cortina Mountain Guides group. During the event, the “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym will be transformed into a real base-camp, a meeting point from which all daytime activities will start and afternoon and evening meetings will be held.
“With SCARPA Ice Days we are bringing the excellence of ski mountaineering to the beloved Dolomites, with a look at ice climbing, which from a small niche is gaining a prominent place in the industry,” emphasizes SCARPA President Sandro Parisotto.
