under the heel and under the toes, absorb the pressure of the foot at the moment of impact, promoting comfort over long distances. In the medial area there is an ergonomic ESS shank that avoids torsion. The cushioning is generous and effective (thanks to its 24mm height at the heel and a design with vertical ribs) but equally capable of giving the right sensitivity on the sharp corners. Well-trained athletes will find it a stable and reactive shoe, which allows you to better express a performance run. The sole, in Vibram Megagrip compound with Litebase technology, takes up the shape and the arrangement already seen on Spin RS, an exclusive Scarpa design adaptable to any type of terrain, especially on compact surfaces. The trapezoidal shape, not particularly high, is well distributed in the push and brake areas with a pattern that follows the natural support of the foot. Spin Ultra is a model for already expert, lightweight and performing athletes. Compact, reactive, with the right amount of cushioning, very efficient in the running phase, agile on the technical parts. Also recommended for athletes of all levels over shorter distances. Comparing it with the direct competitor’s proposals, they will be on the same level. But the Spin Ultra still remains more agile and with a more running sole.
