SCARPA: Telemark day in Cortina

SCARPA Telemark

A day dedicated to Telemark with SCARPA

Telemark Day, organized by SCARPA at Rifugio Faloria in Cortina d’Ampezzo, will take place on April 6, turning Cortina into the Telemark capital for a day. This event celebrates Telemark, a skiing discipline characterized by the free heel that offers a unique connection to the mountain.

Starting at 9 a.m. (free admission) telemarkers of all ages and levels will have the opportunity to test SCARPA products, which will provide the necessary equipment for those who wish to approach this discipline or perfect their technique. Excellent partners will be 22 Design, Inwild Meidjo and Rottefella who will provide skis and bindings to make the telemark experience even more complete. From 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. also, the terrace of the Faloria Refuge will be transformed into apres-ski with a DJ set and gadgets for all present.

The choice of Cortina d’Ampezzo as the stage for Telemark Day is not accidental. The resort, renowned for its spectacular slopes and breathtaking views, is the ideal place to celebrate the essence of a sport that is both an art and a more authentic and profound way of experiencing the mountains. Cortina, moreover, is the base of the “Trash Telemark Skiing” community, a group of athletes committed to conveying the values of telemark skiing as passion, love of the mountains and freedom.

This November, SCARPA will launch the TX Pro, a new boot designed specifically for Telemark.
