SCOTT Sports alongside Braveheart Runners
The goal is to support up-and-coming athletes in Iten, Kenya, by giving them the opportunity to spend a year training and competing in Europe.
SCOTT Sports recently announced a partnership with the Braveheart Runners Fundation in Kenya, which is dedicated to providing scholarships to local athletes to support their growth and accompany them on a path to compete at the international level. SCOTT, as a partner, will provide high-performance products with financial support as well. In fact, the 2022 Scholarship, with the support of the brand, will sustain 4 men and 5 women who are actively aiming for a career as runners. The scholarship includes living expenses, physical therapy, coaching and support in European races.
“Braveheart Runners Foundation is committed to building better lives by empowering talented young runners in Iten, Kenya. Through our partnership with SCOTT, we are not only able to support more runners, but also offer them access to the best equipment and events in the world,” comments Alistair Davidson, founder of the Braveheart Runners Foundation.
Athletes will be outfitted with RC running shoes and apparel from SCOTT.
