Sustainable climbing: United for Inspire at its II edition
On April 1, 2023 from 4 p.m. Vertical Park in Rome will host the second edition of
United to Inspire
, an event created to raise awareness about sustainability in sporting contexts such as climbing.
Inspire is a Roman nonprofit founded in 2017 by a group of young women with the aim of educating people to live consciously and responsibly. All proceeds from the event will also be donated to their sustainability project in schools, ReFRESH.
During the day, participants will be able to take part in various competitions based on their level of climbing and aspire to the many prizes raffled off by event supporters. This will be accompanied by music, good food and a desire to have fun.
Sponsored by FASI, this event is the result of the coming together of numerous gyms in Rome and Lazio. In addition to A.s.d. Vertical Park hosting the event, Scalartes, A.s.d. Colle Salario, Monkey Island, Star Wall, Vertigo, Fire Rock, Hangar, Aurora Team and Dea Climbing.
There are also numerous entities supporting the event such as Outdoor Srl, MovetoDiscover, Valle Orco Climbing Festival, Brazz, Monvic, Parvat, Caio Comix, Record, Versante Sud Editions, Giga Resoling, Mangrovia, Monkey Hands, Heads Back, BYB, Overest Climbing Club, Anchoa and Spontanea Lab.
