Test: Asics Trabuco Max

Test: Asics Trabuco Max

A soft shoe to run following the flow even at high pace.

After a 2020 full of great innovation, Asics sees important changes and news also in its trail sector with the addition of Trabuco Max, a model that follows the trend of high-cushioning shoes, with an important midsole and a geometry designed for long distance endurance and maximum support thanks to a wide and stable platform.

The spacious toebox will be appreciated by wide feet, and will ensure foot grip thanks to the elastic mesh of the upper, also reinforced with thermoplastic inserts along the forefoot profile. The geometry of the shoe features a 4mm drop which, combined with the eye-catching front rocker of the midsole, favors a full roll. Furthermore, the forward midfoot gives great fluidity and lightness also considering the volume of the product. The Asics Grip outsole features a well-sculpted and spaced lugs for less technical terrain and sliding terrains, but also provides safe traction and grip on wet surfaces. An excellent product in general for those who plan to go far and want to do it with a stable shoe with an easy roll for a very smooth and safe running experience. We particularly liked the fast laces and the functional lace pocket.

We Like: Wide, stable and gripping platform for great safety even after many hours on the move..
