Atris have their own characteristic versatility that sets them apart from other models in the Black Crows freeride line, some more oriented to deep powder (like Anima and Nocta), others to maneuverability (like Corvus). This is evident from the balance that is found from the first descents between floatation and reactivity, a perfect synonym of its wide versatility. It is a ski capable of providing a good response in case of aggressive and high speed skiing thanks to the camber under the feet, but also guaranteeing at the same time a considerable float due to the rocker on the tip and tail (together with the 108mm under the feet). This combination of features also allows you to face without fear jumps and landings typical of the backcountry, which are the soul of the “game” for some of the most advanced freeriders. It’s a fun ski, in all respects. As soon as we tested its reactivity we noticed a pleasant feedback: the feeling of having excellent control of the tool and good stability, without fear of going into the deepest snow. Atris are skis that could basically be defined as “all mountain”, with good control in powder despite not having the generous dimensions of other skis under the foot, but for this reason they are also ideal for situations where it is more important to have a quick response to changes of direction and an interpretation of the descent that can quickly go from slashing in powder to a 360° trick from a cliff.

We Like: A fun ski that winks at the big mountain world.
