Test: Ferrino Instinct 30+5

Test: Ferrino Instinct 30+5

A mountaineering backpack with an excellent balance between resistance and lightweight.

This functional mountaineering backpack has a minimal and essential design while being complete in every part and very technical. The snug fit guarantees maximum freedom of movement even during arm stretches to grab holds and while climbing. The Instinct 30+5 is designed to adapt to any outdoor activity and can be easily modulated both in weight and in the carrying system by removing the lumbar belt and the additional straps. The external gear system allows you to securely carry ice axes, crampons, rope and much more.

Inside there is a probe/shovel holder. In particular, the two ice ax holders are made of Reinforced Laminated Fabric, while the backpack is made of Dyneema, Composite Fabric, Cordura, nylon and SuperFabric reinforcements that guarantee an excellent ratio between strength and lightness. A back pocket and one on the lumbar belt complete the useful equipment for organizing your equipment. The Hollow Back System is very comfortable and thanks to its extraordinary flexibility it adheres to the body following it perfectly in its movements. The waist belt is removable and the back is super breathable thanks to the combination of preformed padding with ventilation channels and mesh fabric that allows you to always keep the back dry. Side compression straps, top rope strap, removable waist band and chest strap with whistle integrated.

We Like: Lightweight and functional, with a minimal, essential and very technical design. Easily modulated both in weight and in the transport system.
