Test: Mizuno Wave Daichi 6

Test: Mizuno Wave Daichi 6

Lightweight, shock absorbing, stable and protective. Ideal for all those runners looking for a versatile and performing model in any situation and on any terrain.

Mizuno renews its trail collection and launches a new shoe ideal for running along mountain trails and in all outdoor environments. Versatile, well balanced and robust, Wave Daichi 6 looks like a real revolution in terms of aesthetics and technology. Design completely redesigned and enriched by Wave technology that guarantees greater foot stability. The breathable and durable double-layer Airmesh upper improves durability and impact protection. The adjustable fit system ensures speed and comfort and a personalized lacing.

The rigid dual-density EVA midsole allowed us to distribute the impact across the sole in order to protect the most sensitive area of the sole of the foot from dangerous elements present along the trails. The specific design gives stability in lateral movements, supporting the medial part of the foot without blocking the movement. The heel area is instead reinforced and allowed us to better control the speed thanks to the 8mm drop, and to brake more easily downhill. Finally, the Michelin rubber sole has more spaced and deeper lugs that prevent clogging by debris on particularly muddy ground, providing us with better traction and grip on all surfaces.

We Like: Lightweight, shock absorbing, stable and protective. Ideal for all those runners looking for a versatile and performing model in any situation and on any terrain.
