Stefano Ghisolfi and Arianna Tricomi, athletes of the US brand, complete two memorable feats for the world of climbing and freeriding.

After starting the year as number one in the world, Stefano Ghisolfi completed for the first time ever the first 9b route in central Italy, climbing “L’areonauta”, a project that had been open for 20 years, tackled by many climbers, but closed only by the athlete from Piedmont.

“I tried this route for about 15 days, and until the last moment I wasn’t sure I would succeed – says Stefano after his ascent – After the knee jam (the last rest) the most intense section begins, on small holes with non-existent foot holds, it is the part where I struggled the most and with which I had to fight with all my strength. But yesterday, unexpectedly, I managed to pass, making a dream come true.”

Freeride champion Arianna Tricomi also managed to achieve one of the dreams she had since she was a child: skiing down the Val Scura couloir, one of the most famous couloirs in the Dolomites, covering the entire 800 metres.

“It’s incredible that I waited so long to ski that line, but it finally happened and I’m really happy”, confesses Tricomi.
