Valtellina Ebike Festival

Valtellina restarts with the turbo on and does so by announcing the Valtellina Ebike Festival, an event entirely dedicated to e-mtb that will take place in Morbegno, in the province of Sondrio, on September 19th and 20th.

Nature, energy and vitality are the ingredients behind the first edition of the Valtellina Ebike Festival.
An event that aims to introduce cycle-tourism lovers to the Lower Valtellina, one of the most spectacular areas of the Alps, endowed with great natural and historical beauty and an incredibly suitable trail for mountain-bike enthusiasts of all abilities.

So we start from the rediscovery of the great alpine spaces characterized by a spectacular and luxuriant nature that expands over headlands, coasts, mountains and valleys. A land rich in history, culture and centuries-old food and wine traditions, such as the vines grown on the terraces or the special processing of Bitto cheese. A past that has also bequeathed an incredible heritage of routes that has as its nerve centre Morbegno, Valtellina’s capital of good food and good living, elected Alpine Town 2019.

“This territory has enormous potential”. Says the Festival’s promoter committee. “In the Lower Valtellina and in the area north of Lake Como there are trails of all kinds: from quiet hikes through the vineyards of the coastal mountains, to all-mountain single trails to venture into the side valleys, up to technical and challenging enduro trails with more than a thousand meters of elevation gain and that come close to the historic center of Morbegno. Now, thanks to the electric mtb, which makes the ascents more accessible, we can really entertain everyone and help to make known an area really rich in natural and historical beauty. With all these ingredients the event will not disappoint!”.
