From April 15 to April 19, 2024, Vibram will participate in Milan Design Week, exhibiting in two locations: the Fabbrica del Vapore and the Vibram Connection Lab in Zona Tortona. The Fabbrica del Vapore, in the new Zona Sarpi design district dedicated to Chinese design, reflects Vibram’s connection with China, where the company has been manufacturing soles since 1998 and opened the Vibram Technological Center in 2009.
During the Fuorisalone, Vibram will present its historic Carrarmato sole, introduced in 1937. It will be possible to visit the Vibram Innovation Mobile Lab at the Fabbrica del Vapore, where visitors can resole their own shoes and participate in design workshops. In the Vibram Connection Lab, you can explore the design of Carrarmato soles and discover new products and prototypes. This event aims to strengthen Vibram’s connection with Chinese culture and innovation, particularly in Shanghai, where it will open a new laboratory in June 2024.
