VIBRAM TROPICAL CARRARMATO SOLE AT PITTI SS2020

VIBRAM TROPICAL CARRARMATO SOLE AT PITTI SS2020

Vibram is taking to Pitti the evolution of the Vibram Tropical Carrarmato Sole concept, the sole born from the collaboration with the famous Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana.

Vibram Tropical Carrarmato Sole reinterprets the historic Carrarmato design, the first sole conceived and created by Vitale Bramani in 1937, which, in this new variant, cleverly combines performance and design that has always been product features, together with the creative art of Campana.

The new Vibram Tropical Carrarmato Sole is made of mixtures with different densities, a double construction that combines rubber and EVA – without the use of glues, with the result of excellent grip, slip resistance and durability on the tread, and comfort, softness and lightness at the top. A sole made even more functional thanks to the antibacterial and anti-aging treatment of the rubber, a plus that makes it a perfect option also for the beach world.

Tropical not only in its concept, but also in the product proposal that Vibram brings to Pitti as an example of the application of this sole to a shoe. The Vibram Tropical Carrarmato Sole is presented in a capsule collection of highly original sandals for the sea, leisure and all post-sport relax moments, which will conquer both mountain and city men, thanks to the extreme quality, comfort and safety.

At Pitti there will also be an exhibit of two other application variants of the Vibram Tropical Carrarmato sole. The Tropical Carrarmato Mok, a moccasin with a suede upper sewn directly onto the sole, an example of an urban casual version. On the same urban style, the Tropical Carrarmato Rain Boot, a shoe with an upper made of a thin and soft Vibram rubber sheet.

With this new concept, the unmistakable yellow octagonal brand, also looks to the world of design and art to explore new territories and study increasingly innovative projects.
