W. L. Gore & Associati, in line with the Promise Brand “Together, improving life” and in the framework of response to the epidemiological emergency Covid-19, today announced that it has joined the CRI project “Il Tempo della Gentilezza” which aims to support the network of Territorial Committees in the provision of assistance services to people with greater social and health fragility.

W. L. Gore & Associates, as part of the actions provided for in the social responsibilityche allows associates to support social projects, has chosen to support the CRI project by donating immediately 40,000€ for the activities to be carried out through 4 territorial CRI committees of cities representing the entire national territory (Milan, Bardolino, Rome and Naples) giving the possibility to Associates or external members to make free donations to the national CRI committee in support of the same project.
Through “Il Tempo della Gentilezza”, the CRI’s response to the social needs born during the epidemiological emergency aims to be smart, kind and safe, and is articulated in a series of actions of home, social and economic assistance in order to make basic services (food and care) accessible to people who are most exposed to health, social and economic risks of the emergency, protecting the health and safety of the entire community.
Massimo Marcolongo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of W.L. Gore & Associati said: “At a time when we are all called to social responsibility and to maintain high levels of safety, it is also important and morally binding to contribute to the health and well-being of the community in which we live and operate. The corporate culture of the W.L. Gore & Associates Group has always been strongly focused on core values such as collaboration and inclusion. For us, supporting the CRI project is therefore a dutiful and responsible act”.
