The collaboration, which will officially begin at the end of September, is based on two key words: nature and culture. In fact, the two entities share a love for the Italian territory and a desire to discover the natural and cultural beauties often hidden in small villages around the country.

The Touring Club Italiano is a nonprofit association that has been involved in responsible tourism, culture and the environment for more than 100 years. It is a partner of excellence with a deep commitment to the promotion and discovery of Italy’s cultural and natural heritage. The collaboration with 8848 The Outdoor Company, an Italian brand that has been studying the ideal garments for mountain and wilderness lifestyle lovers for years, will enable the two entities to offer their members and travel lovers the right clothing to explore the country in a comfortable and functional way.

The partnership aims to enhance authentic places where art, nature, good food, sustainability and hospitality are expressions of the culture of the area: three different itineraries to show the deepest and most authentic identity of the territory and its communities and excellences, in destinations awarded with the Orange Flag, the recognition of tourist-environmental quality given by the Touring Club to small municipalities of the Italian hinterland. Sappada, Limone Piemonte and Chiavenna will be the setting for the 8848 Trails Experience the brand has planned.
