Polartec Beyond Begins Today

Beyond Begins Today: new Polartec fabrics.

The future starts today: high performance increasingly sustainable

Polartec presents Polartec Power Shield, a membrane made from recycled polyester materials, Polartec 200 and Micro Series, recycled fleece equipped with Polartec Shed Less technology.

Polartec Power Shield RPM

Polartec Power Shield RPM represents an important new step in the process of reducing the impact on our Planet and implementing circular processes. Created to promote precisely circularity, Polartec Power Shield RPM is a recycled polyester fabric that fits into the category of products dedicated to weather protection. It offers waterproofness, windproof properties and breathability, features that also ensure high elasticity, comfort and durability. Offering a wide range of motion and a long-lasting 100% recycled polyester membrane designed for high-intensity activities, Power Shield RPM increases comfort during end use and is perfect for runners, cyclists, and golfers who do not sacrifice sustainability in favor of performance.

Polartec Shed Less

“Less is more” with Polartec Shed Less technology, a process that reduces the dispersion of fiber fragments during home washing by up to 85 percent without compromising the performance or durability of the fabrics to which it is applied. Less dispersion means fewer microfiber fragments ending up in oceans and waterways. Less leakage also means wearing the soft Polartec fleece fabrics for many more years, which help pave the way for a more sustainable future.

Polartec Micro Series and Polartec 200 Series

Polartec Micro Series is designed to provide lasting comfort in a wide range of conditions, adapting to different levels of activity. It is made of a layered structure with thermal air pockets to retain heat without inhibiting perspiration. Durable and soft, Polartec Micro Series is hydrophobic and quick-drying.

Polartec 200 Series is the modern version of the original PolarFleece, which in 1993 was the first high-performance fleece made from yarns made from recycled plastic bottles. Today it is treated specifically to protect its durability and to protect the Planet. Key features are increased strength, warmth, light weight and faster drying time.
