Circularity Workshops by The North Face
All you need to know about “How to breathe life back into your clothing.” The North Face lands at Orefici 11 store in Milan with the “Circolarity Workshops”, a series of events dedicated to recycle.
The North Face confirms its commitment to circularity by bringing to Milan the “Circularity Workshops,” a series of creative and educational events dedicated to transforming The North Face’s ‘old’ assets into something new.
It starts in October 12, 2023 with a series of talks involving experts, businesses, journalists and startuppers. Opening the initiative at 6:30 p.m. will be the talk “Sustainable Paths,” featuring Julian Lings, The North Face Senior Sustainability Manager; Matteo Aghemo, co-founder of Must Had; journalist Ilaria Chiavacci; and Silvia Stella Osella, creative consultant. The moderator of the discussion, which will focus on the outdoor transition to circular economy, will be Tommaso Perrone, Director of LifeGate.
Set for the 13th, however, is the real kickoff, with the start of a series of workshops on everything you need to know about taking care of your clothes even when they look ready ‘trashed’. Participants are invited to bring their own garments to use during the upcycling and repair workshops. Keywords: repair, recycle, and transform with a view to new adventures.
The “Circularity Workshops” will be held at the Orefici11 store from October 13 to 18, 2023. Sunday is excluded, but to make up for it Saturday the 14th will host an extended session from 2-7 pm.
