The flagship model of the new CMP trekking offer, a low cut that stands out for its great attention to comfort, integrating the best construction technologies adopted by the Vicenza-based brand. The upper uses a high-quality Nubuck leather that gives an excellent impression of quality and sturdiness. Supporting and protecting it is a lightweight rubber coating that wraps around the entire toe laterally, giving greater stability in walking. The support system we had already seen in the Rigel model is integrated into the ankle. By connecting the instep with the sole and heel, it ensures precise fit and support. This is where a traditional lace system with a deep closure, extended to the toe, fits in for more precise adjustment as well as greater accuracy on technical terrain. Completing the top is a Climaprotect waterproof membrane. Underfoot impossible not to notice an “important” and generous sole-sole section. It should not be scary because softness in the stride performance is provided by a cushioning EVA midsole of medium stiffness. On the rubber bottom is Vibram’s XS TREK family compound, a highly versatile all round whose main characteristic is flexibility. Instead, the design chosen is the iconic Carrarmato with multidirectional lugs that revolutionized the footwear industry more than 80 years ago. Just on the blocks to note the presence of Traction Lugs that further elevate traction and grip even on wet surfaces. Huranus is a rugged and durable hiking shoe, ideal for tackling even the roughest mountain trails. The low cut makes it easy to fit and comfortable, and the slightly curved profile of the toe and heel accommodate the stride, revealing an agile and dynamic shoe.
