The LV Free 130 Lite Cabrio is a boot designed for free-tourers, that is, skiers ready to take on long climbs in the mountains while earning the best lines. The higher you go, the more the weight gets, which is why a lightweight alternative to the LV Free 130 3Dwrap Convertible model is ideal. Here it is! This boot, thanks to its Grilamid rather than PU shell, offers a good combination of light weight and stiffness, which is essential for efficient power transfer during the descent, where we found it to be stable and sturdy. The three-part structure is a distinctive feature of this boot. This design provides uniform flexibility, ensuring smooth cushioning and lateral, stable heel support, especially important when skiing off-piste and in variable terrain. The shape of the boot tongue has been adapted to improve interaction with the hull while softer plastic has been added at key points to provide more flexibility. This makes it easier to switch between up and down modes without having to remove the tab completely, making the experience more efficient and quicker. At the forefoot level, the width is 99mm to provide ample space for medium-width feet.
