Super versatile wind and rain shell, suitable for both the city and more relaxed outdoor activities

You know the jacket hanging on the coat rack by the front door? The one that you take without even thinking about it every time you go out because it always fits? Here, that jacket may very well be Fjällräven’s Övik Hydratic: a two-layer windproof waterproof jacket suitable as much for year-round outdoor activities as it is for city life given its clean, essential shape. Built with versatility in mind, this shell boasts a lightweight, packable construction that is as easy to slip into a hiking backpack as it is into a work bag. Obviously, this versatility does not reward in technicality: it is not the right garment for tackling outings or weather conditions that are too challenging, but compared to most jackets of this type it boasts fairly technical details, such as a fixed and adjustable hood as well as the ability to adjust the hem thanks to a drawstring and Velcro cuffs.
