AlpRace is a performance and functional jacket, a reliable garment that has allowed us to experience various outdoor activities to the fullest. Made of Comfortemp with highly water-repellent ProMeteo 1L lining and DWR nylon fabric with double ripstop microstructure, it proved impervious to outside moisture during a day of bad weather and also sheltered us well from wind. The fabric does not soak and dries quickly, thanks to the specific DWR water-repellent treatment that makes the jacket perform even after multiple washes. It also compresses really well, taking up little space in the backpack. In contact with rock, it demonstrated excellent resistance to abrasion as well as wear. The close fit follows the body’s movements and ensures ample freedom of movement. The jacket has a zipper on the front, zippered hand pockets, interior apert pockets, and stow pocket function. The bottom part is finished with an elastic band to keep the cold out, while the cuffs feature a handy thumb hole. During the more challenging climbs it proved breathable and kept us dry and warm. A multifunctional leader who has always risen to the occasion.
