Saucony presents Guide 17: maximum armor and excellent balance between comfort and protection

The seventeenth version of this classic icon in the Saucony collection, introduces CenterPath Technology, with reliable protection through a wider, more stable platform, a higher midsole, raised sides that hug the foot, an asymmetric profile and a rocker that guides the stride from heel to toe. Updated with an additional layer of Pwrrun foam and a Pwrrun+ insole, the Guide 17 offers maximum cushioning with protection that puts comfort first.
“The Guide series has always been a workhorse for runners who need comfort and protection,” said Brian Moore, Saucony’s chief product officer. “But this update is a complete redesign, an evolution involving new external and internal geometry. The Guide 17 is the first shoe in our range to introduce a unique maximum cushioning approach centered on our exclusive CenterPath technology, a modern design approach built with asymmetry to center the foot while providing maximum comfort and protection. With a full-length bed of PWRRUN layers, runners of all abilities and people who simply want to get out and move can now experience comfort and protection designed into a shoe with an even more contemporary look and feel.
