It is now clear to us how this Canadian brand knows how to distinguish itself by its attention to detail and its eye for detail when choosing materials, always used in a way that brings the best possible technologies to the product. In fact, in 001rz, we immediately notice how the weight is considerably less than average: only 247 grams in US size 8.5. Looking at it, you may wonder how this is possible, and you will find the answer in its upper: made of woven Dyneema fabric, a super thin and soft fiber that is very resistant to tears and abrasion, definitely flexible and very durable. The Vibram midsole and outsole could not be missed. The midsole is very responsive, wearing it in fact the feeling is one of rather high dynamics and cushioning. The sole, with its deep, narrow and long “V”-shaped lugs, has excellent grip on multiple types of terrain. We would like to specify that more runnable and stable ones are recommended, however, as the traction is very precise, but the top not too protected. The 001rz remains a niche product, dedicated to the runner who seeks quality and is not afraid to pull out their wallet to get it, but also to the runner who is interested in sustainability and appreciates new and emerging brands, just like us.
