Ossola Outdoor School is born
The new school that introduces the outdoor world to beginners, from fun to safety.
On 5 January, the Ossola Outdoor School was inaugurated in Croveo di Baceno, in the Ossola Valley. The place, as magical as it is uncrowded by tourists, was enriched by the perfect weather for the occasion: rain, snow and cold, excellent for the planned activities. After the press conference, the Alpine, hiking and mountain bike guides followed the 25 guests who attended the event. There were four specialities on the programme, all of which proved to be exciting for the participants: sport climbing, trail running, hiking and mountain biking. The event reflected the values of the school: passion, enthusiasm, but above all quality over quantity, with the aim of involving enthusiasts and newcomers who want to get away from the city’s greyness and into nature in an outdoor spirit. The didactics, managed by about 26 guides, doesn’t want to be rigid and austere; in fact, the School wants to invite you to learn step by step, living different experiences and always adequate according to the level of preparation, based on the solid notions of safety taught by the guides.
