Outright triumph for Team SCARPA at the Mezzalama Trophy 2023

The 2023 Mezzalama Trophy marked the end of a memorable season for Team SCARPA. Italian athletes triumphed in both the men’s and women’s competitions, taking first place without difficulty.

The race, the last one of international renown on the“La Grande Course” circuit, was attended by as many as 208 teams from 17 different nations. The route, which traversed the Monterosa region, presented considerable difficulties, including three four-thousanders.

Team SCARPA distinguished itself by its strength and ability to dominate the race. The men’s team, consisting of Matteo Eydallin, Robert Antonioli and Davide Magnini, took first place with a time of 4:55’49”. Second place went to the team consisting of Xavier Gachet, Samuel Equy and Matheo Jacquemoud, with a gap of just 2:44″. The women’s team also took first place: the triplets consisting of Giulia Compagnoni, Giulia Murada and Alba De Silvestro reached the finish line in 6:20’00”.

The 2023 Mezzalama Trophy confirmed the strength and professionalism of Team SCARPA, which has proven to be a true powerhouse of world ski mountaineering. A memorable season that will remain etched in the memory of sportsmen and fans of the sport.
