Rock Experience: collab with the Spiders continues
Rock Experience and the Lecco Spiders continue collab.
Rock Experience and the legendary mountaineering group the Spiders are collaborating for the third time to create the Ground Up technical clothing line. This third release comes at a special time: the Spiders commemorate the 50th anniversary of the conquest of Cerro Torre. The collection offers lightweight and warm technical garments designed for maximum functionality even in extreme environments. Aimed at modern climbers, the line allows quick changes in any situation, highlighting Rock Experience’s commitment to technical innovation.
Rock Experience Icarus
Rock Experience’s Icarus mountaineering jacket, the result of a collaboration with Ragni di Lecco, offers high performance and maximum functionality in extreme mountain environments. With Silver Insulation Active by Primaloft padding, it provides warmth, breathability, compressibility and water resistance. Made from premium recycled fabrics, it features a hybrid construction and a grid weave on the back for added breathability. The ergonomic fit and features such as elastic on the cuffs and reflective prints also make it suitable for use with a harness.
Rock Experience Silex
Rock Experience’s Silex is a technical jacket developed with the Ragni di Lecco to provide thermoregulation, lightness and breathability during intense activities such as ski mountaineering and climbing. It uses advanced materials and follows the concept of body mapping, with different padding and fabrics in different areas of the body. HolesNet padding on the front promotes air circulation, while Octopus yarn on the sleeves and back provides lightness and comfort. Stretchy, perforated inserts under the arms improve breathability and freedom of movement. The jacket also features ultralight abrasion-resistant nylon, large zippered pockets, double Lycra cuffs, and a wrap-around hood with Lycra tape. Folds into the left pocket to reduce bulk, weighs 440 g in men’s size L.
Rock Experience Nix
Nix is a Rock Experience sweatshirt developed with Ragni di Lecco to provide high thermal capacity, breathability and light weight during mountaineering activities. Made of Octopus yarn, it offers lightness without compromising on breathability and thermal capacity. Flat seams ensure a comfortable fit, while the fitted hood protects from the cold and can be worn comfortably under a helmet.
Polaris Rock Experience
Polaris pants, developed by Rock Experience with the Ragni di Lecco, offer comfort and protection for climbers. The back has a high protective band lined with quick dry mesh for warmth and lumbar protection, adjustable with flaps or Velcro and with attachments for suspenders. The front and bottom of the legs are reinforced with three-layer ripstop to protect against damage and tears. The leg bottom width is adjustable with two Velcro flaps for a fit over boots. Polaris also includes zippers for side ventilation, zippered leg bottom opening and integrated gaiter with Velcro closure, as well as preformed knees for freedom of movement while climbing.
