Multipurpose jacket designed for ski touring but suitable for multiple winter outdoor activities

Salewa Sella Durastretch Hybrid

This jacket has provided us with versatility in multiple outdoor activities, ensuring excellent weather protection and features suitable for performance use in a variety of conditions. On the climbs it allowed us to rely on all the energy we needed, while on the fast descents it kept us warm. The fit is well designed and ensures freedom of movement. With its specific hybrid design, it combines the comfort of a softshell jacket with the typical protection of a hardshell. Fabrics are purposefully positioned according to the specific needs of the body ensuring maximum performance: on the back and arms, Durastretch with Merino wool provides exceptional breathability and moisture management. On the front and shoulders, windproof and waterproof Powertex provides protection. There are several clever details such as an elasticized hood and a direct-access zippered pocket that allows quick access to avalanche rescue equipment or layers underneath. This jacket is also equipped with waterproof zippers.
