SCARPA: resoiling as a choice for saving the planet

The athlete Sean Villanueva visits the company in Asolo to resole the shoes that took him to the Fitz Roy

After completing a solo crossing of the Fitz Roy massif in his faithful SCARPA Kalipé shoes, Sean Villanueva decided to visit the Asolo company to find out more about the world of SCARPA.
During his visit, the mountaineer had the opportunity to have his approach shoes resole, choosing to promote a lifestyle that does not aim at consumerism but rather at environmental protection.
“Resoling is a theme that is particularly close to SCARPA’s heart. Why throw away shoes when they can be like new again?”, underlines SCARPA, which every year undertakes to resole more than 2,000 pairs of shoes, thus taking care of the environment and raising awareness on the issue of waste production.
The Asolo-based company has a worldwide network of official resolesters who use only original materials, thus allowing the life of the products to be extended.
All you have to do is bring your footwear to any SCARPA point of sale.
