Scott supports the Tzimbar Race 2023
Next Saturday, July 1, will be the highly anticipated Tzimbar Race, an event dedicated to true “cimbars.”
This fascinating name comes from the ancient people of Bavarian origin who first settled the Lessini Mountains plateau. The race, which enjoys the support of Scott and Birra Cimbra, comes in four exciting versions, with the first called “Original.”
The start of the competition will include a 7-kilometer course, characterized by challenging elevation paths, which will cross some of the most picturesque trails around Erbezzo. About 1 km from the finish line, participants will face four cimbre challenges, to be overcome in the shortest possible time. But the excitement does not end there. “Tzimbar” also offers three other exclusively trail running versions. The first covers a distance of 15 kilometers, the second challenges athletes on a 36-kilometer course with 1650 meters of positive elevation gain (2 ITRA points)and the third is new for 2023: a 54-kilometer course with an elevation gain of 2300 meters (3 ITRA points).
Scott Italy will be present as the official sponsor of the Tzimbar Race and will award the winners of each competition.
