The new faces of Montura Team 2022

The Trentino-based company, which for years has stood out for its professionalism in the world of sport as well as in the humanitarian and social field, is ready for a new year of victories.

The winter sports season is about to start again and Montura is wasting no time in renewing its partnerships with those athletes who have shown during the past year that they are capable of achieving important goals at an international level.

Four athletes have been renewed, two for the climbing team and two for the ski mountaineering team.
First of all the twenty-year-old climber Laura Rogora, who at only twenty years of age was the first woman in the world to have linked a 9b/+ level wall, previously only completed by Stefano Ghisolfi. But that’s not all: she was also the first woman to climb a wall of difficulty 9a, in 2019 she became world champion in Arco and participated in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
Another new addition to the climbing team is Spaniard Edu Marìn, an athlete with a long career behind him, who in recent years has chosen to devote himself to an ambitious personal project: opening new routes on some of the most challenging mountains, such as Valhalla in China.
For ski mountaineering fans, the novelties are two very young athletes who, despite their young age, have already been able to collect countless victories within the Italian national ski mountaineering team: Ilaria Veronese, born in 1996, who became Italian Champion in the Vertical specialty paired with Alba de Silvestro in 2019, and Federico Nicolini, World Champion espoir of the Individual Race in Alpago Piancavallo in 2017.

“The 2022 we have in front of us looks like the year of the safe return of all competitions, back at full capacity – says Mntura – The hope is that this new year will be the real opportunity to see all these athletes at work on which the brand and the fans place splendid and confident”.
