The North Face
confirms its connection with the climbing community through a new partnership with Melloblocco, the international bouldering gathering to be held in Val Masino May 8-11, 2024.
On this occasion, The North Face team athletes and climbing champions Jacopo Larcher, Caroline Ciavaldini and James Pearson will give four workshops, two on Friday, May 10 (11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) and two on Saturday, May 11 (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.). These workshops, which can be attended by up to 20 people after registering on Eventbrite, will provide a unique learning and in-depth opportunity for enthusiasts, allowing them to improve their skills and hone their techniques. In particular, the workshops will focus on how to deal with a big wall.
Also, on the evening of Friday, May 10, Jacopo will present The Traditionalist, the new three-part video series, directed by director Andrea Cossu, that follows Jacopo as he travels from Europe to America to the United Kingdom to gain a deeper understanding of trad-climbing as an art form, its diverse community, culture, ethics, and history, exploring what “hard-trad” really means and whether, when the numbers are tallied, degrees really matter.
Joining Jacopo on the Melloblocco stage will be James Pearson, one of the great protagonists of the trad climbing world, who will discuss the challenges of the sport with Jacopo.
