The North Face introduces the new Ski Tour Collection for winter adventures. Maximum protection and minimal weight to take exploration beyond the limits and savor every moment to the fullest.

Made for the most extreme conditions, this layering system is designed specifically for ski mountaineering and incorporates the best of technology for maximum warmth, waterproofing and freedom of movement.

Leading item and brand new is the Balmenhorn Futurelight shell: ultralight and equipped with heat-sealed seams, it is the perfect combination of waterproof protection and breathability.

And for an optimal layer of warmth, the collection offers the Dawn Turn 50/50 jacket equipped with a padding that combines a series of tested fiber panels combined with a highly air-permeable outer fabric to create a state-of-the-art layer of breathable down. This innovative construction allows heat and moisture to escape without leaving cold spots, for better temperature regulation during ski trips in extreme conditions. It features ultra-soft synthetic padding in the torso and under the sleeves, while the highly stretchy fabric provides maximum freedom of movement in the snow.

Rounding out this Collection is the hooded Dawn Turn Hybrid Ventrix midlayer, featuring side panels and The durable elastic nylon fabric that optimizes freedom of movement. Intelligent Ventrix padding features perforations at strategic points that open with movement, dispersing excess heat and sweat, and close again at break times to conserve heat.

Completing the collection is the Dawn Turn Hybrid pant and some accessories.

The collection comes to life through the lens of photographer Mathis Dumas, who captured Ski Tour products in the unique setting of Mount Etna (3,357 m), an unusual location for skiers. But here the snow comes anyway: set against the black igneous rock, it forms a land of contrasts that collides in an elemental battle of wind, fire and eruptions.
