The North Face and Undercover present the “second season” of the Soukuu collaboration
The North Face solidifies its relationship with Undercover designer Jun Takahashi for the second edition of Soukuu, a line that focuses on performance technology designed for hiking and trail running, reimagined through the lens of Undercover’s design.
Season 2 of Soukuu embodies the search for emptiness and the discovery of a meditative state in nature. It is this spirit that inspired Takahashi’s designs, which fuse linear yet refined shapes with performance-oriented technology tested by athletes to improve their performance time. Whether running or hiking, movement is also meditation. Performance-oriented, it features functional elements with attention to every detail. Highlights include The North Face’s Vectiv and Windwall technologies, convertible pants to accommodate a wide range of weather conditions, and a trail run vest compatible with a hydration bag.
This collaboration takes the form of a layering of trail running and hiking garments that challenges the concept of trail and hike collections, combining the pieces into a single holistic offering characterized by extreme light weight and minimal bulk.
