VANS e AWorld together for the beach cleaning month
Vans Italia launches the new sustainable shoe collection with a beach cleaning month
Throughout the month of September, in collaboration with the AWorld app, Vans Italy organised numerous beach cleaning days across the peninsula to launch the new sustainable collection, Eco Theory.
The brand invited everyone to take part as part of the #EUBeachCleaningUp project, a programme launched by the European Commission and the UN General Secretariat to promote the importance of caring for the planet.
The events, three in total, were organised in collaboration with Surf Culture, a magazine dedicated to the world of surfing, which has always been at the forefront of marine protection.
The days were held at the Nimbus Surfing Club in Marina di Pietra Santa (LU), the Big Air Shop in Camerano (AN) and the Beky Bay in Igea Marina (RA), and involved adults and children in beach cleaning activities.
