Vans launches a new shoe inspired by snowboarders and dedicated to those seeking adventure on all types of terrain
In order to design a shoe suitable for a snowboarder’s foot, there are several factors to take into account, chief among them being dynamism, a fundamental element in the lives of athletes and snowboarding professionals. It is their feedback that allowed Vans to design an innovatively designed shoe that embodies the fusion of performance and style.
That’s the UltraRange Exo Hi Gore-Tex MTE-3. The name takes the breath away, a bit like downhill rides on the board. And that’s exactly what Vans’ team aimed at doing: keeping the adventure going once the board is put away.
Insulation, traction, waterproofing
There are three technological principles at the base of UltraRange Exo Hi Gore-Tex MTE-3: insulation, traction and waterproofing. Thanks to the Gore-Tex Duratherm membrane, warmth and comfort are constantly maintained. Also enriched with Gore-Tex is the exterior, providing complete waterproofing while remaining breathable. It is a revamped rubber sole, on the other hand, that offers continuous traction, whether wet or dry.
The result is a shoe that maintains the right warmth constantly, adapts to any terrain and challenges theunpredictable of each day.
