XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail: 45 km competition is sold out

Athletes from 25 nations will participate in XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail, one of the most popular trails in Europe. The 45-kilometer race is sold out again this year.

On September 10, the XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail, the trail running competition in the shadow of the Dolomites, will start from Molveno. This year’s event features runners from 25 nations, with a large number of Italians, Dutch and Germans and new entries from further afield, such as the United States and South Africa.

The 45km is again sold out in the 2022 edition, while the 64km will see 205 athletes at the start. The 45km route (valid for XTERRA ranking) has 2850m D+ while the more technical 64-kilometer route has 4200m D+.

Dolomiti di Brenta Trail, in the 45km distance, will be part of XTERRA Trail Marathon Series. Finally, there is a great focus on safety also thanks to the GPS trackers each participant is equipped with. The records to beat, now 5 years old, are by Enzo Romieri (7:04:23) and Laura Besseghini (9:10:37); for the 45km, however, it’s up to Federico Nicolini (4:40:09) and Martina Valmassoi (5:53:37) to beat times.
