Anna Ferrino receives the Compasso d’Oro Award

I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious award,” Anna Ferrino said during the ceremony. “This award represents not only an important personal achievement, but also recognition for the long entrepreneurial journey of my family, our Rabajoli partners and the entire Ferrino team, who with dedication and professionalism contribute every day to the success of our company. It will be a further spur to continue working with passion to maintain the high value of Italian design in the world of sporting goods by offering mountain enthusiasts functional objects with innovative and durable solutions that allow them to live their experience in nature in safety and comfort“.

Ferrino, a leading company in the sporting and outdoor goods industry, is pleased to announce that its CEO, Anna Ferrino, has been awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Career Award.

The award ceremony was held on June 20, 2024 at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, in conjunction with the opening of the Exhibition of products and projects selected for the XXVIII edition of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. The Compasso d’Oro Award, established in 1954, is one of the most coveted awards in the design world. This award is given by the Association for Industrial Design (ADI) and the ADI Foundation, and aims to celebrate excellence in Italian design. Anna Ferrino has been recognized as a leading figure and undisputed protagonist of Italian design culture, thanks to her continuous commitment and passion over the years, expressed in a career built on two pillars: culture and sport. A journey that starts from afar, within the tradition of family businesses understood as a capacity for value transmission before economic transmission.

I like to observe how outdoor enthusiasts move in different geographic areas; it is a key exercise in sensing new trends. However, I not only draw inspiration from our community of reference but also try to capture cues from everything around me and in particular from my great passion for contemporary art: artists are antennae to the future
