ASICS wins the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard award

The Kobe, Japan-based company has been recognised as one of the best at engaging its supply chain on climate change.

After a thorough evaluation of its work in 2021, ASICS was named by CDP, an international non-profit association that has been dedicated to the environment and its protection for years, as one of the companies most attentive to its emissions and climate risks in its supply chain.

The evaluation was carried out among more than 6,000 brands worldwide and assigned to each one a score based on governance, objectives and category 3 emissions. In addition, their value chain commitment was assessed through their responses to the overall CDP questionnaire.

ASICS, in addition to being included in the top 8% of companies, was also included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022, published by S&P Global, which is responsible for reporting the best sustainability performance of the top 15% of companies in the world in each sector.
