The Pill Base Camp is an outdoor test village and indoor expo where the leading brands in the outdoor world, carefully selected by The Pill, present and offer the chance to test next season’s new products.

Presentations, previews, experiences, product tests, clinics and workshops, but not only that, also moments of relaxation over a beer where you can engage with colleagues and shopkeepers from all over Europe.

In the Sestriere and Folgaria winter editions, the focus is Ski, Snowboard and all the equipment that goes with it such as clothing, backpacks, safety systems and equipment.

For the Courmayeur summer edition instead focus on Running, Trail Running, Hiking, Climbing with ample space for footwear, backpacks, clothing and equipment.

The Pill Base Camp creates an opportunity for positive dialogue between brands and stores, from which new connections can be made or existing ones strengthened. In a market where products are in danger of all looking the same, it is an opportunity to introduce and learn about new products, test them in the field, but most importantly, a chance to tell and discover the ethical values of the brands and the people in them.

Behind a brand there is not only product, but also people, values and history that they share.

The Pill Base Camp is not only tests and presentations, but also experience and educational activities. These include one concerning mountain safety, where experienced mountain guides will train in the use of safety systems such as Arva, shovel, probe and airbag backpack.

For the more active riders riding sessions with athletes and ambassadors from the coolest brands, sunrise or sunset pelts, ending the day enjoying a cold beer in front of Ski and Snowboard Movie screenings and stories from those who really lived those experiences.
