Metaspeed Sky Paris and Metaspeed Edge Paris: lighter, more energetic, faster
ASICS introduces new models in the Metaspeed Series collection: Metaspeed Sky Paris and Metaspeed Edge Paris, designed to support runners in reaching their peak performance. These running shoes, the result of careful studies conducted by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science, combine innovative technologies to offer lightness, softness and responsiveness.
In 2021, ASICS introduced the first Metaspeed Sky and Metaspeed Edge shoes to the market, targeting two different running styles. Now, with Metaspeed Sky Paris and Metaspid Edge Paris, ASICS further improves these proposals, with a revised design to maintain proper posture and control the angle of foot support during the fatigue phase. Both models have been lightened and equipped with a new FF Blast Turbo Plus foam in the midsole, which provides more softness and cushioning. In addition, the carbon plate has been improved to increase responsiveness in the starting phase for Metaspeed Sky Paris, while a minimalist plate has been adopted for Metaspeed Edge Paris to promote a more effective forefoot take-off.
The new shoes embody ASICS’ design philosophy, based on superior quality validated by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science and the athletes themselves. Testimonials from runners such as Vincent Kipkemoi Ngeitch and Michael Somers demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of the new models. The shoes are available from March 4, 2024.
