Tecnica presents Zero G Peak, the new ski mountaineering boots

Tecnica is back in style for the winter season with a new pair of ski mountaineering boots: the Zero G Peak.

Tecnica recently introduced Zero G Peak, its new boots for ski mountaineering enthusiasts. Zero G Peak meets the needs of those who require agility and lightness, so as to fatigue as little as possible on the ascent and better manage the descent. For this new boot, the Tecnica team compared themselves with top mountain guides and discovered that, often, in favor of lightness, proper comfort is sacrificed.

“We developed the Zero G Peak with a specific goal in mind: to make the ski mountaineering boot in the light touring category with the best comfort and downhill performance in the category,” explains Carlo Sammartini, Blizzard product manager. “To achieve this goal, we developed a revolutionary design, implementing several technologies and functional innovations. The result is the new Zero G Peak, which is fully customizable, also available in a full carbon cuff version and in a specific women’s design – and all weigh less than one kilogram.”

Features of the Zero G Peak include a waterproof gaiter, carbon-reinforced sole, anatomically preformed C.A.S. bootie and C.A.S. hull, which makes walking easier.
