Dyanfit speed factory: The New Outdoor Hub at the Gates of the Alps

In the picturesque northern lands of the Alps, specifically in the Bavarian town of Kiefersfelden, the Dynafit brand is undertaking an ambitious undertaking: the construction of the Dynafit Speed Factory, its futuristic headquarters that will see the light of day by December 2023. This eclectic steel and glass building will not only be the beating heart of DYNAFIT, housing more than a hundred employees, but will also open up to visitors, immersing them in new worlds through its innovative public areas. The anticipation is great, and finally on March 15, 2024, the doors to this extraordinary and exciting reality will open wide.

Not new to the Oberalp Group are these constructions that, with an eye to the future and a foot in the past, pay homage to the immensity of the Dolomites. In 2011, in fact, Oberalp built Salewa’s headquarters in Bolzano inspired by the very forms of the famous mountain group. Today, 200 kilometers further north in the Bavarian Pre-Alps, a new landmark for outdoor enthusiasts is rising: the new Dynafit headquarters, a sister brand of Salewa and also part of the Oberalp Group. Here, too, the architecture looks to the future, with the bright mountain spires of the two 32-meter-high towers fitting effortlessly, however, into the beautiful surrounding mountain landscape.

The Dynafit Speed Factory is the brainchild of Barcelona-based studio Barozzi Veiga. A perfect combination of functionality and design, with a usable area of about 10,000 square meters and a site area of 8,190 square meters. This new building is distinguished by its structure divided between public and private spaces. Modern, flexible Office Homes, the offices, offer bright, innovative work environments designed to accommodate up to a hundred employees. Public areas are designed to bring visitors into the Dynafit world.

Opening in March 2024

Just in time for the launch of the summer collection and the start of the trail running season, the venues will open their doors to the public on March 15, 2024. For visitors, it will be a 360-degree experience, being able to immerse themselves in the company’s DNA through visual and interactive stimuli. Several services in the gallery for mountain lovers. It starts from ski and mountaineering shoe rentals to trail running shoes. Bootfitting for your boots, in-depth run analysis and recharging at the energy bar will be available.

The areas of the Dynafit Speed Factory

A real revolution for mountain sports enthusiasts, who can have their damaged clothing and equipment of any brand repaired here. If your passion is skis, whether for speed or powder, the Ski Factory is the place you are looking for. Inside you can create your own skis, according to your needs and wishes. The indoor hall has a staircase that is open to the public and offers renting service to outside users who want to use it. The restaurant, the Dynafit Bivac, will be a separate building next to the Dynafit Speed Factory. It will cater to all tastes, following vegetarian, seasonal and regional cuisine.
