Global Climbing Day by The North Face

Once again this year, the brand confirms its commitment to making climbing increasingly inclusive and accessible

The event

Once again this year, The North Face is celebrating Global Climbing Day by organizing a series of free events open to the public in climbing gyms and on crags.
On Aug. 19, five European locations will host climbing champions to promote empathy and the power of community. A sixth city, Milan, will conclude the program on September 13 after the summer break.
The North Face has been part of the climbing community since its founding in 1966. From Yosemite’s Half Dome logo to the extraordinary athlete Margo Hayes who was the first woman to climb a 9a+.
The North Face is organizing the Climbing Festival in Europe for the seventh consecutive year, partnering with local gyms to promote climbing accessibility and inclusivity. In addition to Global Climbing Day, partnerships will offer climbing courses and opportunities. Participate Aug. 19 in London, Berlin, Chamonix, Paris and Cortina d’Ampezzo, meet The North Face athletes, connect with the climbing community and attend workshops and conferences.
