Unforgettable routes at the Rabbi Alpine Trail

More than 160 athletes registered for the two races of the second edition of the Rabbi Alpine Trail in collaboration with SCARPA that took place last October 10. The organizers were satisfied with the results of the races, as well as with the increasing participation of athletes and volunteers.

The first to start at 8.00 a.m. were the athletes of the 46km and 3000m d+ route, with Facchini and Nicolini immediately in the lead. After having crossed Val di Rabbi, Val di Sole and Val di Pejo, in the final descent the athlete of the national ski mountaineering team Federico Nicolini – Team Montura – finished first in 5h 08′. In second place Patrick Facchini – Team Lasportiva – in 5h 11′, while the third was Gabriele Fedrizzi – Maddalene SkyTeam – in 5h 37′.
The women’s race was fought for the first step of the podium between Giulia Orlandi and Paola Gelpi; however, Orlandi was unable to catch up with her colleague, finishing in second place.
